WHAT BASES DO YOU CARRY?
716knit carries a variety of bases. There are 3 staple bases. Other bases may come and go with availability and customer interest. The main bases are:
716sock: 80% SW Merino 20% Nylon +/- 400 yards needle: 0-2 MADE IN THE USA
716pride: 100% SW Merino +/- 270 yards needle: 4-6 MADE IN THE USA!!
Occasionally we offer a Secret Stash base….
716bou: 100% SW rambouillet +/- 250 yards needle: 7-9 MADE IN THE USA
WHAT DOES HXC MEAN?
The HxC you will see on the site and the silver HxC you will see on yarn tags stands for HARDCORE. It is an abbreviation The HxC denotes colorways that are self-striping. 716knit is know for thick, hardcore stripes. Depending on project and gauge, each strip should be 6-8 rows of color (for 2 stripe colorways).
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
I want you to be happy and satisfied with your yarn. If you receive your yarn and don't love it, you have 7 days from the date it is delivered to initiate a refund. I cannot accept any yarn that has been caked, balled, or used for a return/refund. Custom orders are final sales and cannot be returned.
DO YOU TAKE CUSTOM ORDERS?
I do offer custom orders when my schedule allows it.
Please note, while my dyeing methods aim to create unique, one of a kind, skeins, I can reproduce similar colorways (NOT EXACT) for larger projects or repeats of previously done skeins. You can look through available colorways here on Raverly.
Some colorways are OOAK, and will be marked as such.
Please contact me with any custom request or inquiry. Due to high volume of sales I cannot guarantee any bases other than 716sock being in stock. Please contact me about other bases.
If there is a base you would like dyed that I do not have, I do offer dye-jobs where you send me the yarn, I dye it up and then send it back. Price is based upon yardage and base yarn.
Once I confirm your colorway and base, I will dye your yarns (this can take up to 12 to 28 days) and then contact you when it is ready via e-mail and a PayPal invoice or reserved listing.

You have 7 (SEVEN) days to pay the invoice or purchase your reserved listing. If you do not contact me within those seven days or have not made other arrangements prior with me, your custom work will go into my public shop for sale.
WHERE DO YOU DYE 716KNIT YARN?
I dye 716knit yarn in my own home studio. The 716knit studio is a smoke free and pet friendly space. While I do try to keep my dog out of the dye space, the occasional hair occurs. It's just his way of showing his love to my customers.
